Welcome Reception, Tradeshow & Student Project Exhibit

Join us on Thursday evening for a welcome reception in the exhibit hall sponsored by Mercer! Mix and mingle with colleagues and industry partners over refreshments. Peer-reviewed poster presentations will be showcased and the new student project exhibit, sponsored by Waterpik, will be judged.

Arrive on time! The first 100 attendees who enter the exhibit hall will receive a special giveaway!

Independent Practice Connections Café

Friday, October 18 | 2:00 – 4:30 pm

Presented by: Cirrus Consulting Group & TD Wealth Management

During the first hour of this session, independent dental hygienists will learn the basics of leases, the pitfalls to be aware of, and tips for negotiating. During the second hour, guidance will be provided on basic wealth management strategies for business owners. Topics include investments, RRSPs, tax strategies, and why you need a will. Attendees will then have an opportunity to network with their colleagues and ask further questions of the presenters.

Awards Luncheon & Presentation

Join us at the awards luncheon sponsored by dentalcorp and help CDHA recognize its long-standing industry partners and sponsors. CDHA will also celebrate excellence through its awards program, honouring members who have shown extraordinary dedication and commitment to the profession. The luncheon will begin with a special presentation by Dr. Kristin Yont, who will show everyone how to use mindful eating as a mind– body therapy to elicit a relaxation response and reduce stress.
