Making Headlines....

New Periodontitis Resource

Maintaining good oral hygiene is essential for the prevention and management of periodontitis. When discussing periodontitis with your clients, you may need to answer questions such as: What is periodontitis? What are its signs and symptoms? What causes it? How can it be treated? Find answers to these questions and more in our newest resource, available in English and French. Download copies and share them with your clients! Since periodontitis usually begins with gingivitis, consider downloading our gingivitis resource in English or French as well.

Oh Canada! Fall/Winter Issue

The fall/winter issue of Oh Canada!, released in mid-December, is available online for all members. It features a FOCUS section on AAP Periodontal Classification, as well as articles on diversity, equity, and inclusion as an ethical issue, volunteer work overseas, improving ergonomics, the student writing competition winner (best essay), and more. This issue also includes all the latest CDHA resources, advocacy news, and member benefits updates.

2025 National List of Service Codes

The National List of Service Codes has been updated in English and French and is ready for use by independent dental hygienists. It has also been shared with all appropriate stakeholders in the insurance industry. Please check with your provincial association for their 2025 dental hygiene fee guides.
